JULIAN JONES

Vocalist/guitarist Julian Jones has achieved sustained success in a varied career in music spanning 30 years.

A long stay in the United States from 1983 to 1994 presented many opportunities for stylistic growth and diversity, from rock to classical. Upon returning to Australia in 1994 Julian has continued to build his repertoire to suit a wide variety of audiences and age groups.

A highly proficient player of both electric and acoustic guitars, he is much sought after as a recording vocalist / guitarist & producer.

Vocally he is adept in all styles from rock to blues to jazz. Before leaving for the United States Julian won the Queensland group vocalist award for three straight years.

Besides solo work (with and without backing tracks) Julian also regularly performs in two different duos and a quartet.
